The new James Bond movie is currently shooting (directed by Sam Mendes) and from set-photos we have a picture of Javier Bardem (No Country for Old Men, The Dark Tower (hopefully)) in policeman disguise.
Note: this is a special review since a colleague of mine had the pleasure of visiting England a couple of days ago, where he managed to watch a screening of the already highly acclaimed (and highly anticipated by this site) Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy.
In this movie adaption of the book Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy (by John le Carré) Gary Oldman (The Dark Knight) plays Smiley, a former spy who returns from retirement to find a mole in the MI6.
It is always good when a movie surprises you – even when some of the flaws that you feared would be in there are still there.
X-Men: First Class brings the X-Men back to its roots after the last two installments (especially Wolverine) managed to underwhelm but this time without the clawed mutant as its lead.
Helmed by director Matthew Vaughn (Kick-Ass) First Class tells the story of how Magneto and Professor X first met and links the mutant history to the Cuban missile crisis. Contrary to many prequels this movie actually succeeds in making the backstory interesting.
