James Gunn wurde mit der Aufgabe betreut diese mehrheitlich unbekannte Comic-Reihezu nehmen und in einen erfolgreichen Film umzuwandeln und dabei seinen eigenen Stempel aufzudrücken, um eine andere Art vom Marvel Film zu kreieren. Gelingt es ihm und dem Cast rund um Chris Pratt diese anspruchsvollen Forderungen zu erfüllen?
So Kathleen Kennedy was not joking when she said that they would be planning more than the one Star Wars movie every 3 years. Apparently after Star Wars VII will hit the screen in 2015 there will be a new Star Wars movie every year. These movies will vary between movies like Episode VIII and IX and standalone movies (about which we already heard countless rumors). It is not hard to see an Avengers-like approach to it but I still doubt that Star Wars would need solo-movies to hype up the “team up episodes”… to phrase my feelings in a very Star Wars-y fashion

The arrogance in the words of Tony Stark is incredible. The way he puts himself above everyone else, leads an overly luxurious lifestyle and doesn’t care for anyone else – he the guy you would not suspect to be a hero left alone like him at all. And yet Tony Stark is one of the strongest if not the strongest hero characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

On April 26th the Avengers will have finally assembled after 5 movies who set up this event. To say that the anticipation for this movie is high would be an understatement. Next to The Hobbit and The Dark Knight Rises Avengers is poised to be one of the highest grossing movies of 2012.
