With The Avengers the team-up franchise crossover has started a new trend to increase a product’s popularity. In 2015 Batman and Superman will come together, as will the Avengers for the second time. But one year before 20th Century Fox will launch their own team up of different sorts:
X-Men: Days of Future Past will have Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) travel back in time (somehow) to mobilize the younger X-Men (from X-Men: First Class) in order to prevent a future apocalypse.

Peter Dinklage (Game of Thrones) will be playing the villain Bolivar Trask who creates mutant killing robots known as sentinels. So this movie will feature:
- timetravel
- crossovers
- changing of the timeline
- killer robots
- pretty much every actor from the series
