How Nolan kept the end of Batman a secret

It’s been over a year since Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy concluded (read the flipthetruck retrospective) yet news and stories will probably keep surfacing for some time. Especially with a Limited Collectors Edition being released including the previous Blu Rays as well as some new documentaries and retrospectives.

One of the interesting videos that has surfaced (via Batmannews.com) is how Christopher Nolan – who is known for his secrecy – managed to keep a pivotal scene from the end under wraps (warning: Spoilers for The Dark Knight Rises):

All I have to say is that it worked for me. When pictures from the set started to surface showing Christian Bale infront of the tombstones I immediately jumped to the conclusion that it would be a moment of Bruce Wayne looking for guidance… as it has happened so many times before in the comics.
