From Potter to King

After delivering four solid Potter movies in a row director David Yates is now finalizing the deal for a multifilm adaption of Stephen King’s longest novel (that says a lot) The Stand.

Aiding him will be Steve Kloves (each Harry Potter except Order of the Phoenix) who will be writing the screenplay. The Stand tells the story of a superflu called Captain Trips  that wipes out about 99.something % of earth’s inhabitants. The survivors form two camps: the one lead by the old lady Abigail and the one by Randall Flagg, who is one of the most iconic Stephen King villains and when he is not killing in The Stand he is troubling a certain gunslinger on his way to the Dark Tower…
