Monty Python’s The Life of Brian is one of the most provocative comedies of all time and contrary to people who have never seen the movie (or are deliberately misinterpreting it) it does not make fun of Jesus or anything sacred. The movie is a parody of cults, followers and misinterpretation.

And this entire theme can be seen in the opening scene of the movie where the three wise men appear to praise their savior – who will bring peace to the earth.

Only to find out that they have praised the wrong child and quickly pack their goods to go to the “real messiah”.
