Mit Deadpool bringt Fox nun einen Anti-Helden ins Kino, den Comic Fans seit Jahren verlangt haben. Dass es ein Film ist, den diese Zielgruppe will, steht wohl außer Frage aber unter der postmodernen Ironie verbirgt sich die nur allzu bekannte Formel.
Mit der Verfilmung ihres eigenen Comics Persepolis wurde Marjane Satrapi einst berühmt, nun wagt sie sich erstmals an ein nicht von ihr verfasstes Drehbuch. Dabei erweckt sie in abwechselnd kunterbunten und düsteren Farben die Welt eines Schizophrenen zum Leben, der von seiner vermeintlich sprechenden Hauskatze zum Mord angestiftet wird.
