Bereits zum fünften Mal fand in Wien das /slash Filmfestival statt. Das Festival des fantastischen Films bietet eine jährliche Gelegenheit Filme aus den unterschiedlichsten Genres zu sehen. Ob Horror, Fantasy, Thriller, Trashfilm oder gar surrealistische Biographien – alles ist hier vertreten.
Zu viert in einer WG zu wohnen kann schon anstrengend genug sein, doch wenn man dann noch ein Vampir ist, wird alles noch komplizierter. What we do in the Shadows (dt.: 5 Zimmer, Küche, Sarg) hilft nun endlich auch uns Sterblichen, zu verstehen, wie es sich so leibt und lebt als Vampir in unserer Zeit.
Und wenn das Leben als Untoter so unterhaltsam ist, wie dieser Film, dann gibt es kaum etwas, worüber man sich beschweren kann.
Der Film wurde bereits im Rahmen des /slashfilmfestivals in Wien gezeigt und erscheint am 31. Oktober in den österreichischen Kinos.
